Today our class met with the Dean of the Canon Law faculty about our forthcoming comprehensive exams, which will be our “final act” to complete the requirements for the licentiate in canon law that we were all sent here to get. We are able to select fifteen themes that will be the starting point of our exam, during which we will be questioned by two panels of professors for thirty minutes each [panel].
So now that we have that list of themes, it definitely feels like we are on the “home stretch.”
Our comps will be held on the 11th and 12th of December. That’s approximately 85 days away. At this vantage point, it feels like the last two years has gone quickly, all things considered.
I should be home by Christmas!
