From the CBC News Ottawa website:
Siobhan Rock was an athlete and a new mother when she was diagnosed in May with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Now she’s helping to organize an aerobics marathon on Sunday afternoon at the University of Ottawa’s Montpetit Hall to help raise money for the ALS Society of Canada and raise awareness of the disease.
Siobhan’s father is a doctoral student here at Saint Paul University, and fellow resident with us in the Deschatelets Residence. Siobhan has an amazing attitude to her condition, but I’m sure is grateful for prayerful support as she faces this huge challenge. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
